Amsterdam lands in Time Out’s top 10 nightlife cities for 2026
Amsterdam just got another stamp of after-dark excellence. In Time Out’s Best Cities for Nightlife 2026 ranking — published 26 August after surveying more than 24,000 locals worldwide — the Dutch capital landed at number 10 globally and among Europe’s top three night scenes (behind Berlin and Brighton). Sixty-seven percent of Amsterdammers rated the city’s nightlife as good or amazing, and 77 percent said it’s easy to find community after dark. What Time Out highlighted matches what locals already feel: the best nights have moved beyond the centre. Noord is the after-dark epicentre — warehouse energy at places like Garage Noord, waterfront spots like Pllek, and rooms that blur clubbing, art and live music. Neighbourhoods from Oost and De Pijp to the Jordaan now pack brilliant bars and late venues within walking distance. Listening bars like Loop 51 and cocktail spots like Door 74 show a city getting more adventurous about how it goes out — curiosity, community and discovery over tourist clichés. WorldPride 2026 also put a spotlight on Amsterdam’s inclusive LGBTQ+ nightlife, with Club Raum among the names carrying that reputation. Clubs and casual pubs scored equally when locals were asked what the city does best after dark — proof the scene works whether you want a full warehouse night or a neighbourhood bar crawl. That depth is exactly why Vibra exists. The city is packed with great parties — and on Vibra, the best events are always published, promoted and easy to find.
